📍 Location: Sparks, MD 21152
🕒 Shift: Multiple shifts available (pay may vary by shift)
👀 What You’ll Do
As an Instrument Test Technician I , you’ll assemble, test, and troubleshoot medical instruments to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and test instruments on the production floor
- Perform functional and release testing on moderately complex equipment
- Review test data and determine pass/fail results
- Troubleshoot basic electrical, mechanical, or software issues
- Improve system performance using test results (movement, lighting, accuracy)
- Read and follow drawings, work instructions, and workmanship standards
- Identify defects and suggest process improvements
- Train and support team members as needed
- Work with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams
- Follow GMP, safety, and quality guidelines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Perform material handling for parts and sub-assemblies
- Be flexible to work overtime when required
🎓 Qualifications
Education / Experience (Either One):
- Associate’s degree in Mechatronics or a related field OR
- 5+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical, or software troubleshooting
✅ Skills We’re Looking For
- Experience testing or troubleshooting equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and measure dimensions
- Familiarity with hand tools (torque drivers, gauges, etc.)
- Basic PC and Windows experience
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
