LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a motivated Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift to join their team. This leader will elevate nightly operations across key production areas (packaging lines, paint/coating, roll forming/presses, welding cells) while building a high‑performing team culture grounded in safety and quality.
Schedule & Workweek
- 2nd Shift: 4:30 pm – 3:00 am
- Monday–Thursday standard; occasional Friday overtime based on demand.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead nightly operations across assigned lines (packaging, coating/paint, forming/press, welding), setting clear targets and pacing the team to hit safety, quality, and delivery metrics.
- Run tiered huddles and shift handoffs; monitor OEE, first‑pass yield, scrap/rework, and downtime; remove bottlenecks in real time.
- Coach and develop operators and leads; drive cross‑training, certification, and succession planning.
- Own safety and compliance on the floor, reinforce PPE use, and uphold a clean, organized work area via 5S/visual management.
- Partner with maintenance on preventive tasks and rapid troubleshooting; coordinate changeovers and keep equipment ready for the next run.
- Assist with in‑process inspection and quality checks; ensure documentation and traceability are tight.
- Drive continuous improvement, capturing ideas from your crew and implementing practical fixes that stick.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 3+ years of experience leading production teams in a manufacturing environment (night/second shift experience useful).
- Background in one or more of: steel punching, roll forming, welding, dip/powder paint lines, and automated/manual packing lines.
- Strong problem‑solving, attention to detail, and a calm, decisive presence on the floor.
- Comfortable with preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and safety leadership.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Language: Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Compensation Range: $75,000 - $85,000
