Job Description:

This position will be responsible for monitoring and improving our final assembly lines. This includes monitoring and interpreting KPI and planning a priority-based approach to the continuous improvement of the assembly line – from development of new processes through production support for existing products already released to manufacturing. You will have the opportunity to improve existing final assembly processes and will be working with other engineers and technicians, manufacturing engineering, manufacturing, and design engineering on projects as well as directly with production floor personnel.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Machine Builder - Assisting with Purchasing new equipment, and specs for that equipment.
  • Help guide installation of new equipment and plan and execute a solution for any problems that may occur with installation / usage of that equipment.
  • Monitoring, interpreting, and reporting all KPI for production line (OEE, Machine Uptime, Defects, Etc.).
  • Optimize the manufacturing process by improving OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and Defects.
  • Support the cross functional improvement teams as needed.
  • Support plant maintenance staff in the event of a down machine. (Bonus)

Qualifications:

  • Strong Experience with 3D CAD software. (Must Have Skill)
  • Using for Process Optimization / Specs for new Equipment
  • Strong Root Cause Analysis skills.
  • Excellent project management skills. Leading Projects, not necessarily Teams!
  • Experience with six sigma/lean.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a good attitude. Looking for Consistent Performance.

Bonus Technical Experience:

  • Robotics (Fanuc/Yamaha/IAI)
  • Vision system programming and troubleshooting
  • Experience with FMEA and other production control documentation.
  • PLC / HMI programming
