Location : Woodlawn, MD, 5 days a week
Schedule : 9am – 3pm or 12pm – 9pm
On-Boarding : 3-4 weeks, start date 1/12 or 1/19
You will be configuring Polycom phones with Microsoft Teams, packaging them, shipping to all SSA field office, and doing remote installation over the phone.
Day to Day :
- Experience with Microsoft Teams Voice to support migration efforts to Microsoft Teams voice platform
- Establishes communications systems by installing, operating, and maintaining voice and data telecommunications network circuits and equipment.
- Support number porting, call routing validation, and failover testing.
- Assist with site turn-ups, migrations, and cutovers.
- Verifies service by testing circuits, equipment, and alarms; and identifying, correcting, or escalating problems.
Must Haves :
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical/electronic engineering, information technology, or another related field
- Associate degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience
- One to three years of related IT/telecommunications experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in engineering and configuring solutions that implement VoIP.
- Experience in system Manager (SMGR), Session Manager (SM), Element Management System (EMS), Session Border Controller (SBC), Application Enablement Services (AES), and SIP trunking solutions.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for Telephony systems, including incident and problem management for CM, SMGR, SM, EMS, SBC, AES, and SIP environments.
- Deep understanding of SIP trunking, VoIP protocols, and telephony infrastructure.
