Position Summary The
HR Coordinator supports the Human Resources department in carrying out a wide range of administrative and operational functions. This role focuses primarily on recruiting, onboarding, and employee engagement, while ensuring excellent communication and service to both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), highly organized, and passionate about helping people succeed.
Key Responsibilities - Assist with full-cycle recruiting: post job openings, review applications, schedule and conduct phone screens, and coordinate interviews.
- Main point of contact for all temp labor.
- Serve as a point of contact for applicants, new hires, and employees regarding HR-related inquiries.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation sessions, including preparation of new hire packets, I-9s, and employee documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems (e.g., ADP, Trakstar, etc.).
- Support the HR team with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events.
- Help ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and safety regulations.
- Translate documents and assist with bilingual communication during meetings, trainings, or employee interactions.
- Support HR data entry, reporting, and auditing processes.
- Assist with company newsletter.
- Assist in other HR functions such as benefits administration, timekeeping, and employee relations as needed.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork and curiosity.
- Address employee concerns and escalating issues as needed to management.
- Promote and enforce workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience: Education - High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field preferred.Experience:
Skills & Competencies - Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (ADP experience a plus).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion required.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong customer service focused.
Physical Requirements: - On-site position at Hans Kissle’s Northeast facility (Haverhill, MA).
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
- Occasional standing, walking, or bending during employee check-ins, onboarding, or company events.
- Occasionally lift to 50 lbs., and work in varying temperatures.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and in writing.
- Ability to move between office and production floor environments as needed, adhering to safety requirements.

We Take Care of Our Team Position offers a starting salary range of $25.00 - $37.00 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
