What You'll do

The Digital Press Operator is part of a strong department producing high-quality digital print using a variety of equipment and supporting production flow across departments.

Primary responsibilities include:

Digital Press Operation

• Operate and maintain:
• Two Ricoh 9500s
• One Ricoh 9250
• One Canon v1000
• One Canon VarioPrint 150
• Multiple envelope presses
• Monitor color, quality, and consistency throughout runs.
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and cleaning.

Production and Finishing Support

• Assist with:
• Wide-format printing and finishing
• Engraving laser projects
• Bindery/finishing (cutting, folding, laminating)
• Read job dockets thoroughly and follow instructions accurately.
• Prioritize multiple jobs to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.

Quality, Accuracy and Safety

• Inspect output for defects and ensure jobs meet customer and company standards.
• Perform basic job-related math accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

We're looking for someone who:

Is calm under deadline pressure and works with speed and accuracy.

• Can lift 40–50 lbs , move paper boxes, and stand for extended periods.
• Reads and follows job tickets precisely.
• Has experience in a print environment or has the right attitude and aptitude to learn quickly.
• Values teamwork and communicates clearly.
• Is reliable, punctual, and takes pride in quality work.

Experience is a plus, but the right attitude is even more important.

Schedule and Compensation

• Full-time , Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Occasional overtime; little to no weekend work
• $22–$28 per hour depending on experience (higher for exceptional candidates)
