Job Description

Our client, a successful apparel company, is looking for a Graphic Design Associate/Assistant to join their team in NYC!

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop original prints and graphics in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
  • Take artwork from initial concept through to pre-production readiness.
  • Partner closely with the design team to establish timelines and ensure artwork is delivered on schedule.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring designs to completion.
  • Stay informed on new trends and concepts in prints and graphics to inspire fresh ideas.
  • Maintain expertise in creating factory-ready files and seamless repeats.
  • Encourage teamwork and innovation by sharing research insights and recommending process improvements.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in print or graphic design, or a related discipline.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Art, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for textile and surface design.
  • Strong illustration and painting skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with excellent time management abilities.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
  • Resilient and positive when working under pressure.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.
